Dr. Rushing with husband Tom, daughter Avery Grace, and son Alex Dr. Rushing is originally from Hattiesburg, MS and a 1998 graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi where she majored in Biological Sciences. She was accepted to the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in Jackson and graduated in June 2003. Dr. Rushing also attended the AEGD residency at The University of Mississippi School of Dentistry where she furthered her education in cosmetic and general dentistry. She began Rushing Family Dentistry in May 2004 and recently celebrated the opening of her new office in Flowood in November 2007. In her free time Dr. Rushing stays busy with her two young children, Avery and Alex, and her husband Tom. She enjoys running, traveling, Southern Miss Athletics and spending time with family and friends.
